Na konferenciji će sudjelovati bivši ministar unutarnjih poslova Republike Hrvatske Ranko Ostojić, Hannes Swoboda, bivši predsjednik Progresivnog saveza socijalista i demokrata u Europskom parlamentu i Onursal Adıgüzel, turski parlamentarni zastupnik. Raspravu će moderirati novinar Norbert Mappes-Niediek.
Europe Calling razvija ideje o socijalnoj, pravednoj i slobodnoj Europi. Pozivamo vas da postanete dijelom te misije!
[English]
Financial crisis, economic crisis, refugee crisis: They are serving as centrifugal forces, polarising Europe and driving it apart. Recently, trust in the European Union and finding joint solutions for such central challenges has really suffered.
That makes it even more important to ask: What is keeping Europe together? And what progressive European policies can counter pessimism and legitimate worries with a positive alternative that is fit for the future?
With Europe Calling (#ec16fes), the Friedrich Ebert Foundation will address these questions and discuss them in Brussels (24th of February), Zagreb (24th of May), Athens (2nd of June), Düsseldorf (16th of June) and finally, in Berlin (20th of June).
Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Zagreb would like to invite you to join the Zagreb conference which will be held on 24th May 2016, in Zagreb Eye conference hall, Ilica 1a.
The keynote speaker will be Ranko Ostojic, former Croatian Minister of Internal Affairs, Hannes Swoboda, former President of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, and Onursal Adıgüzel, Member of the Parliament of Turkey.. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Norbert Mappes-Niediek.
Europe Calling is developing ideas for a social, fair and free Europe. Become part of it!"
